Taken place from May 21 to 25, the inaugural Menorca Maxi Regatta 2014 was marked by an outstanding win of the J-Class superyacht Lionheart. This majestic vessel was built by Claasen Shipyards to a design by Andre Hoek in 2010.
The overall winners of this year’s very first Menorca Maxi have become superyacht Magic Blue in the Wally Class and sailing yacht Lionheart in the J Class.
Claasen Shipyards has become an official ‘industry partner’ of this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma, running in the lovely Spain yacht charter location – Palma de Mallorca from June 18 to 21.
The Superyacht Cup Palma has proudly announced the new partnership with St Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort. The event will host some of the world’s finest superyachts, including the 2013 winner – the Claasen superyacht Heartbeat.
Built by the prominent Dutch manufacturer Claasen Shipyards, the 72-foot luxury yacht Louise (ex Bougainville) has successfully completed her maiden voyage to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. This lovely and elegant racer/cruiser has been designed by Berret Racoupeau, with interior design by Rhoades Young.
Set to take place from June 18 to 21, the Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 is expected to host over 20 of the world’s finest yachts, including the gorgeous J Class yachts.
The recently concluded Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2013 was a great success. The event hosted 4,000 sailors and 300 Classic as well as Modern yachts, providing them with ideal sailing conditions.
It has been a great success for the Hoek Design yachts at this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma, also sponsored by this prominent Dutch design studio. The first place overall in the SYC class 2 went to Heartbeat yacht.
It was a very successful edition of the Superyacht Cup Palma for four Claasen superyachts, including the majestic J Class yacht Lionheart, the Truly Classic 78 yacht Heartbeat, charter yacht Atalante, as well as superyacht Firefly.
The last day of the 2013 Superyacht Cup Palma saw the overall victory of the 23,8m Claasen superyacht Heartbeat.
Day 2 of the currently running Superyacht Cup Palma was marked by the fleet victory of the Royal Huisman charter yacht Maria Cattiva, designed by Bruce King.
