Set to run in the lovely England yacht vacation location – Solent from July 25 to 31, the Royal Yacht Squadron’s Bicentenary Regatta will host such iconic vessels as J Class superyacht Lionheart, as well as the 160′ charter yacht Eleonora.
Showcasing the tradition of the event, the majestic titans of the 1930s will return to the America’s Cup after 80 years. J Class yachts will compete in the J Class regatta, scheduled for June 2017.
At least three of the majestic J Class yachts – sailing yacht Lionheart, charter yacht Ranger and superyacht Velsheda -will attend the upcoming 2015 Royal Yacht Squadron Bicentenary International Regatta, running in July.
The year 2015 has started in a festive mood for the well known Dutch luxury yacht builder Claasen Shipyards as they celebrate their 30th anniversary. The yard has launched 19 Truly Classics so far, and is currently working on a Truly Classic 126 yacht, set to be launched soon.
Pendennis in Falmouth, UK is currently hosting three luxury vessels for refit: the 75,2m motor yacht Northern Light, the 65m sailing yacht Adix, as well as the J-Class yacht Lionheart.

The all-new J Class book titled ‘Ranger to Rainbow’ has been successfully launched. It brings the story of the J Class yachts from the 1980’s to 2012.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2014 came to its end yesterday, on October 5. The event hosted 4,000 sailors from all over the world, competing on some 300 Modern and Classic yachts.

Yesterday, September 3, 2014, was marked by Day 3 of the currently running Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. In the Supermaxi Class, luxury yacht Firefly leads, going into the second half of the competition, but only by one point from Inoui yacht.
A fleet of Maxi yachts participating in the currently running Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup enjoyed clear skies and a fresh mistral breeze on Day 2. The J-Class leader is presently superyacht Rainbow.
