It was another exciting day of racing at the 2014 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta. Charter yacht Moonbird took first place in Class B, while in Class A the overall victory on Day 2 went to Claasen superyacht Firefly.
The first day of racing at the XII edition of the SWS Trophy was marked by an amazing victory of the SW82 superyacht Grande Orazio. She was followed by SW100 luxury yacht Cape Arrow and charter yacht Farewell, respectively.
The first day of the 2014 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta was represented by a fantastic weather and exciting racing, as the fleet of 21 sailing yachts raced the spectacular Costa Smeralda in Sardinia.
Racing at this year’s eagerly awaited Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta will kick off in the lovely Sardinia yacht holiday destination – Porto Cervo today, on June 4. The event will host an impressive fleet of 21 sailing superyachts.
This year’s Southern Wind Trophy is set to start next week during the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, running in the fantastic Sardinia yacht charter location – Porto Cervo. The event will be attended by such outstanding vessels as SW 100 DS charter yacht Farewell.
Two weeks remain to register for this year’s Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, which will once again take place in the fabulous Italy yacht charter destination – Porto Cervo in Sardinia, running from June 3 to 7. So far, a total number of 25 sailing superyachts have confirmed their participation in the event.
It has been a great success for the Dykstra-refitted superyacht Velsheda at this year’s Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in Sardinia’s Porto Cervo. She was victorious in the J-Class race, followed by Rainbow yacht and charter yacht Ranger, respectively.
The majestic Swan 90 superyacht Altair has become the winner of the 2013 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in the Maxi Racing/Cruising division and she has also win the prestigious Swan Maxi Class Trophy.
The winners of the final day at the 2013 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup were: Sailing yacht Rán 2 (GBR) in the Mini Maxi Rolex World Championship with a bullet and a second; superyacht Velsheda in J-Class; luxury yacht Morning Glory in Maxi Racing; charter yacht Nefertiti in Maxi Racing/Cruising; superyacht Nilaya in Supermaxi; and, luxury yacht Open Season in Wally.
The winners of Racing Day 5 of the currently running Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup were: sailing yacht Rán 2 in the Mini Maxi Rolex World Championship; superyacht Rainbow in J-Class; luxury yacht Aegir in Maxi Racing; sailing yacht Altair in Maxi Racing/Cruising; superyacht Firefly in Supermaxi; and, J-One yacht in Wally.
Day 4 winners of the 2013 Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup have become Bella Mente yacht with a second and a third in the Mini Maxi Rolex World Championship; superyacht Rainbow in J-Class; luxury yacht Morning Glory in Maxi Racing; Altair yacht in Maxi Racing/Cruising; Nilaya superyacht in Supermaxi; and, J-One yacht with a first and a third in Wally.
Today, August 28, 2013, will see the Perini Navi Cup fleet arrive and register, with the first race scheduled to start tomorrow, on Thursday, August 29.
