Eel Kant has been appointed as the managing director at the Jongert Shipyard as of 1st July 2010. Mr Kant was the Managing Director of Oceanco for about 7 years, from 2003 to 2010. Kant is very positive about the yards survival after the worldwide financial crisis.
Jongert Shipyard launches their latest sailing yacht Uisge Beatha on the 24th June 2010. She is a Jongert 2400M aluminium sloop rigged yacht. Water of Life or Uisge Beatha Yacht was built for her Scottish owner, who after a worldwide search chose Jongert to built her.
