This year’s Superyacht Cup Palma started with perfect weather conditions. Class 1 is currently led by the 34m charter yacht Highland Breeze, built by Nautor Swan and designed by Frers, while the current winner of Class 2 is the 30m luxury yacht Reesle, designed by Hoek.
The overall winners of the 2012 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta have become the 39m luxury charter yacht Ganesha in the Cruising Division and the 25.3m sailing yacht Highland Fling in the Performance Division.
The 25m luxury yacht Highland Fling continues to dominate in the Performance division of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2012 after day 2, followed by Aegir and My Song respectively. In the Cruising division, the 29m superyacht Scorpione dei Mari built by Jongert takes the first place, with charter yacht Ganesha in the second place and KibokoDos in the third place.
One of the newest concepts created for the prestigious Dutch shipyard Jongert Yachts is the 42m motor yacht, boasting beautiful both exterior as well as interior by renowned Guido de Groot, with naval architecture by Azure Naval Architects. Port Adriano´s Mallorca Superyacht Days event was completed on April 30 with great success. Hosted by superyacht marina El Toro and organised by yacht brokers from Palma, this successfull event has welcome 42 superyachts.
The Visun Royal Yacht Club in Sanya, Hainan Island hosted the Hainan Rendez-Vous 2012, the premier show in Asia, attended by a large number of superyacht builders, including the prestigious Dutch shipyard Jongert Yachts, exhibiting its current models: the 3900M motor yacht Lucia M, the 3400M Frers superyacht, and the latest 500 LE-X yacht with hybrid propulsion as well as a newly developed 42m motoryacht.

Jongert Yachts has developed a large number of superyachts to date, in collaboration with the world´s leaders in the yacht design, such as German Frers or Guido de Groot. One of the latest projects, the 42MY boasts multiple exterior as well as interior configurations.
Starting the works in September 2011, the Jongert Yachts is presumed to complete the refit of the 2700M sailing yacht Vivid by the end of the next month. This magnificent vessel will boast renewed interior design, a new teak deck as well as an excellent paintwork.
Jongert will attend this year´s Hainan Rendez Vous, paying special attention to their new models; the motor yacht 500 LE X with all their latest innovations such as the diesel electric propulsion and telescopic anchoring systems. And the 42MY yacht that is introduced in China; the perfect combination between modern and traditional designs mixed into 42 meters of impressiveness.
The new Jongert 3400M superyacht is well under way with her preparations for construction at the well known Dutch shipyard Jongert. Sailing Yacht Jongert 3400M is one of three new projects designed by Frers, including the 3000M and 4000M yachts.
