Taking place from November 13 to 15, the 2012 METS incorporating the Superyacht Pavilion celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. This prominent event grows larger year after year, hosting always higher number of exhibitors as well as visitors.
The world’s renowned business magazine for owners, operators as well as developers of marinas, Marina World Magazine, has recently joined the ICOMIA Marinas Group.
Situated in the popular Caribbean yacht charter destinations – St. Thomas, St. Lucia and St. Martin – three fabulous superyacht marinas, including Yacht Haven Grande, Rodney Bay Marina as well as The Yacht Club at Isle de Sol have been awarded the ICOMIA Clean Marina Award. All of these belong to IGY Marinas.
The 2012 ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress, hosted by the newly formed Marine Industry Association of South Africa (MIASA) in Cape Town, South Africa, ended with a huge success, presenting the key note speakers like Michael Lalo of Ernst and Young or Liesl Nel of Moorings and many others.
Relaunched and relocated Marina Pavilion at METS 2012, taking place from November 13-15, will boast its own adjacent seminar theatre, the Marina Stage with bar and free catering for pavilion exhibitors and their guests.
