Going through successful two day seatrials, the Horizon EP148 superyacht Horizon Polaris demonstrated her durability as well as operational performance, reaching a top speed of 16 knots.
Horizon EP148 luxury yacht Horizon Polaris has been highly admired since her premiere at this year’s Horizon Open House, held in June. This has been a good reason for the well known Taiwan-based manufacturer Horizon Yachts not to exhibit this beautiful vessel at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale Boat Show and rather keep it in Taiwan available for inspection by its European as well as Asian clients.
Horizon has successfully sea trialed and launched its largest steel-hull explorer vessel ever built – the EP148 luxury motor yacht HORIZON POLARIS. On display at this year´s Monaco as well as Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, this wonderful vessel provides luxurious accommodation in 5 beautiful en-suite staterooms and is managed by a crew of 8 professionals.
Taiwan-based shipyard, Horizon Yachts, recently showcased its new new motor yacht V74 and the CC105 superyacht, together with the catamaran yacht PC58 as well as the solar-powered catamaran SC23, at the 2012 Palm Beach Boat Show from March 22nd to 25th.
Horizon Yachts was visited by United Arab Emirates’ Prince Shaikh Talib Saqer Al Qassimi on 21st February, 2012. He was shown the Asian largest luxury ICE class steel private super yacht EP148 which is currently under construction, along with the brand-new Horizon RP120 motor yacht Muses.
Horizon Yachts shipyard has successfully launched their super yacht EP148 into the testing field. This stunning vessel will offer five comfortable staterooms thanks to her 29´ beam.
The EP148′ motor yacht is currently in build at the Horizon Shipyard in Taiwan and is expected to be launched later this year. The EP148 motor yacht measures 148ft in length and features a steel hull and composite superstructure that complement each other in both in design and functionality. The exterior design and Naval Architecture have been done by Horizon Yachts and signal Horizons entry into the world megayacht market.
