Yesterday, May 1, 2014, saw the crew of Nordhavn 86 #10 yacht Koonoona depart China on schedule and arrive in Hong Kong, marking an uneventful ride during the 300-nm first leg of the yacht’s delivery.
Attended by a record number of 34 yachts, this year’s Rolex China Sea Race was marked by a veteran victory of 87-year-old Syd Fischer – skipper of superyacht Ragamuffin 90, and 74-year-old Neil Pryde – skipper of sailing yacht Hi Fi.
