This year’s 11th running of the annual Shipyard Cup in Maine will be held from August 8 to 11, hosting such spectacular vessels as the 180-foot Vitters superyacht Marie, as well as the last year’s winner – Hodgdon luxury yacht Scheherazade.
The fifth Hull 415 yacht tender, as well as the sixth Hull 416 superyacht tender have been both successfully delivered by the US builder, Hodgdon Yachts. Both custom tenders are designed by acclaimed Andrew Winch Designs of London.
Hodgdon has announced the launch of its two new 8,5-metre luxury yacht tenders, hull 415 and 416, due to be delivered to a well known shipyard in the Netherlands, where they will join the mother ship, scheduled for launch very soon.
The latest Hull 414 superyacht tender has been successfully delivered by the well known US builder, Hodgdon Yachts. Designed by Michael Peters, it can achieve an estimated speed of 32 knots.

The splendid Hull 413 yacht tender by the US builder Hodgdon Yachts has been successfully launched and delivered. It has been constructed for a prominent European shipyard. In the past, the company has also delivered a tender for the Oceanco superyacht Seven Seas (Y706).
Belonging to the latest HODGDON CUSTOM TENDERS, the US manufacturer Hodgdon has shipped its newest Hull 413 yacht tender, constructed a prominent European shipyard, this week.
As from January 1, 2013, James Anderson will take over its new role as the Hodgdon Yachts’ head of the Design and Engineering department. Currently working as Engineering Manager of SP Gurit / High Modulus, he will attend the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show.
This year’s Shipyard Cup X was won by the 115′ luxury charter yacht Scheherazade, constructed by Hodgdon Yachts in 2000, with last refit in 2011. She was followed by charter yachts Rapture and Whisper, respectively. The 2013 edition of this popular event will take place from August 9 to 13.
Hodgdon Yachts is proud to present four more custom superyacht tender contracts, including a 10.5m custom limo tender and 10.5 m custom open tender, following two custom yacht tenders for Oceanco’s superyacht Seven Seas.
The English superyacht designers: Andrew Winch, Terence Disdale and Tim Heywood will participate together at the unique event, called Designer Question Time, organised by the Chairman, Martin H Redmayne.
