St.Maarten Heineken Regatta 2015 has already attracted entries from 20 different countries. The majestic Brazilian Schooner Atrevida is likely to be the oldest yacht participating in the St.Maarten Heineken Regatta, and measuring 95ft in LOA, also one of the largest vessels to attend.
The 100-foot (30,47m) LOA monohull limit has been raised for the 2015 editions of the Rolex Fastnet Race as well as the Rolex Middle Sea Race. This will entice yachts over 100ft to compete.
Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2014 came to its end yesterday, on October 5. The event hosted 4,000 sailors from all over the world, competing on some 300 Modern and Classic yachts.
Originally launched by the US builder Wilmington Shipyard to a design by L. Francis Herreshoff in 1990, the classic 23-metre sailing yacht Condesa del Mar will make her premiere at the 2014 Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. The race will run from August 16 to 23.

This year’s Régates Royales – Trophée Panerai will be once again hosted by the beautiful French yacht charter destination – Cannes. Set to run from September 21 to 29, the event will be attended by such majestic vessels as the 55m charter yacht Elena.
Replica of the 1903 classic sailing yacht Ingomar is presently searching for a buyer for completion at the Front Street Shipyard in the USA. Ingomar is a spectacular 54m schooner, designed by Nathanael Herreshoff.
The upcoming Camper & Nicholsons Trophée Bailli de Suffren will see a record fleet of classic yachts, including such outstanding vessels as the 56m charter yacht Atlantic.
Classic charter yacht Elena enters the 2013 Camper & Nicholsons Throphée Bailli de Suffren and is expected to race head-to-head with charter yacht Atlantic.
