The organizers of the 2015 Singapore Yacht Show have proudly announced that the momentum for the next year’s event continues to grow with plenty of new companies signing up. These include the prominent Dutch luxury yacht builder, Heesen.
Representing the first vessel fitted with Van Oossanen’s Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), the outstanding Heesen super yacht Galactica Star has won the 2014 World Superyacht Award in the ‘Best High-Speed Yacht over 45 meters’ category.
The ground-breaking 65-metre Heesen Fast Displacement Hull Form motor yacht Galactica Star has won the Asia Boating Award 2014 in the ‘Best Yacht Design of the Year’ category.
The recent World Superyacht Awards 2014 was a huge success for the leading Dutch yards. Such outstanding vessels as Feadship mega yacht Madame Gu and Amels charter yacht Event have received the coveted Neptune trophy.
The coveted Neptune Trophy in the category ‘Semi-displacement or Planing Three-deck motor yacht of 45-metre and above’ went to the 65m Heesen Fast Displacement superyacht GALACTICA STAR at the recent World Superyacht Awards 2014 in Amsterdam.
Both featuring naval architecture by Van Oossanen, the 65-metre mega yacht GALACTICA STAR, as well as the 50-metre superyacht CRAZY ME has been both shortlisted for the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2014. The winners will be announced this weekend.
The 65m luxury motor yacht GALACTICA STAR, built by Heesen Yachts to a design by Omega Architects, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Best Luxury Yacht’ award at the recently held 2014 Arabian Business Lifestyle Awards, as announced by her builder today.
