Luxury sailing yacht M5 (ex Mirabella V) left Pendennis yard in the UK following her extensive refit earlier this year and headed for the South Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
It is a particularly busy period for the Pendennis Palma refit facility. Current projects include such magnificent vessels as sailing yacht Kenora or superyacht Velacarina.
Pendennis Palma is currently hosting the 1972 Feadship classic yacht Heavenly Daze for a second time. She has gone through a RINA and MCA survey and her re-launch is scheduled for the middle of February.
This year’s Monaco Classic Week was marked by the celebrations of the Feadship Heritage Fleet launch, officially founded in April this year.
This year’s Monaco Classic Week will start on September 11, with Belem yacht as special guest, open to the public and surrounded by an outstanding fleet: 66 classic yachts of which 12 are Big Boats (+25m), 11 period motor-yachts, 40 motor-boats including 26 Rivas, as well as 43 Dinghy 12’s.
In order to unite the owners of classic Feadship yachts, the ‘Feadship Heritage Fleet’ was officially introduced by the prestigious Dutch shipyard Feadship on April 16, 2013. The first three members of this association has already been presented: the 1966 motor yacht Ammerland, the 1967 superyacht The Highlander, as well as the 1972 luxury yacht Heavenly Daze.
Two spectacular vessels, including the 2011 Pendennis superyacht Hemisphere as well as the 1972 Feadship luxury yacht Heavenly Daze refitted by Pendennis in 2011/12, have been confirmed as nominated for this year’s ISS Design and Leadership Awards.
The 2012 ISS Design Awards finalist have been announced today, with the winners to be announced on the 25th October at the ISS’s annual International Design Awards Gala.
The 1972 motor yacht Heavenly Daze, originally built by Feadship has been successfully refitted by Pendennis, with focus on interior restyling by Wetzels Brown. She is now due to embark on her charter season in the Mediterranean.
Pendennis facility in Palma de Mallorca has reported a big success in its first quarter, including over six refits such as 55m super yacht Adela, 38m luxury yacht Gloria and sailing yacht Andromeda La Dea.
Feadship 32m motor yacht Heavenly Daze is at Pendennis refit space these days for her eight-month refit.
