Showcasing the tradition of the event, the majestic titans of the 1930s will return to the America’s Cup after 80 years. J Class yachts will compete in the J Class regatta, scheduled for June 2017.

Day 3 of the four-day Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 was marked by another amazing race. Claasen sailing yacht Lionheart is still in pole position in the overall J-class rankings, with a one point lead over luxury yacht Hanuman.
Claasen yachts are currently leading the way at the Superyacht Cup 2014, running in the fabulous Mediterranean yacht charter destination – Palma in Spain. The Claasen-built sailing yacht Lionheart ultimately shared the King’s 100 Guinea Cup with luxury yacht Hanuman.
The first race of The Superyacht Cup Palma 2014 saw superyacht Hanuman and Lionheart yacht share the King’s 100 Guinea Cup, with charter yacht Ranger taking an arbitration penalty after a port-starboard incident.
This year’s Superyacht Cup Palma was marked by a fantastic start. The event is being attended by five luxury vessels built by Claasen Shipyards: charter yacht Atalante, Heartbeat, sailing yacht Lionheart, Drumfire and Firefly yacht.
