Having closed its doors on April 14, the 18th China (Shanghai) International Boat Show saw an increase of 10% in visitor numbers, coming from 51 countries. The event hosted around 500 exhibitors.

Hull of the 44m Kingship expedition yacht Green Voyager was tested in water for the first time on December 13. Due to be delivered within another 12-15 months, she will comfortably sleep 10-12 guests and a 10-member crew.
The impressive displacement type steel hull and aluminium superstructure of the 44m Kingship explorer yacht Green Voyager have been successfully completed. Engineered by Axis Group Yacht Design, this splendid vessel is due to be delivered in 2013.
Due to be launched in summer 2013, the construction of the 44m luxury motor yacht Green Voyager 144 by Kingship proceeds as expected. This innovative vessel is being built to comply to the RINA’s highest level of notation – Green Plus Platinum.
Following the launch of the 42m superyacht Star last month and the launch of the motor yacht Green Voayger 144 scheduled for summer 2013, the respected Asian builder Kingship has been awarded the 2012 Best Asian Yacht Builder for the third time.

Kingship Marine Limited hosted the superyacht Green Voyager’s keel laying ceremony at Kingship’s yard in Zhongshan on Tuesday 19 April 2011. The Green Voyager motor yacht is the world’s first hybrid green boat under 50m that successfully caught the world’s attention when she was introduced at the Monaco Boat Show in 2009.
The UIM Union Internationale Motonautique recently called for nominations for the UIM 2010 Environmental Award. Green Voyager is one of the first “products’” to be entered. The Award Trophy will be presented at the UIM Award Ceremony in the prestigious Salle des Etoiles in Monte Carlo on the 5th of February 2011.
Kingship will present “Green Voyager – a new way of cruising” at the second Singapore Superyacht Conference at ONE°15 Marina Club. Mr Tork Buckley, Senior Consultant at BBCL, will represent Kingship to do a 40 minute presentation at 1400hours on the 12th of October.
The Chinese shipyard called Kingship Yachts is soon to begin construction of the superyacht Green Voyager. The Kingship motor yacht Green Voyager will be the first yacht in the world under 50m which has been constructed to the rigid full RINA’s Green Plus Class certification standards. This low energy consumption, clean and compact, the construction of yacht Green Voyager is to begin next August 2010.
