Saturday 21 July saw the 2012 J Class Solent Regatta – Hundered Guinea Cup, attended by the spectacular J Class yachts. The overall winner has become sailing yacht Lionheart, followed by superyacht Velsheda, charter yacht Ranger and Rainbow superyacht, respectively.
Measuring 76 meters in length, the exceptional classic charter yacht Stad Amsterdam will be berthed at this year’s HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show, open to public on Friday afternoon and over the weekend. Royal Huisman project BUGAMENA, now known as sailing yacht PUMULA has been launched today by the Dutch shipyard and is currently undergoing the sea trials in Holland. Superyacht PUMULA boasts naval architecture by Gerard Dykstra & Partners and interior design by Rhoades Young.
The J-Class 40m super yacht RAINBOW is due to be launched by Holland Yachtbouw mid February. This stunning vessel, redesigned by well-known Dykstra & Partners is a replica of the famous J that won the America´s Cup against the charter yacht Endeavour in 1934.
