At the moment in build at TANKOA Yachts facilities in Genoa, the 69-metre mega yacht TANKOA S693 was successfully sold last month. Scheduled for delivery in the second half of July 2015, she has been designed by bespoke Francesco Paszkowski.
The Genoa-based refit facility, Amico & Co is currently working on its new sheltered graving dock, scheduled for completion in September 2014. This will be able to accommodate superyachts of up to 100m in LOA.
Amico & Co. has now the full contril of dry dock Nb. 2 in the port of Genoa. This can accomodate two large yachts, each measuring up to 85 meters in LOA.
The Italian refit company, Amico & Co., has proudly announced the completion of two important projects – the 86m Oceanco Y706 mega yacht SEVEN SEAS as well as the 62m Codecasa motor yacht APOGEE.
This year’s Genoa Boat Show saw the prestigious Tuscan luxury yacht manufacturer, VSY, sign the voluntary agreement for the carbon footprint with the Italian Ministry of the Environment.
Last weekend saw the Genoa-based superyacht refit facility, Amico & Co, host ‘The Italian Job’ event, in order to show the yacht owners as well as captains what the lovely summer yacht charter destination – the Ligurian Riviera has on offer.
Based in Italy’s Genoa, Tankoa Yachts had carried out some refitting works on the 40m Hakvoort superyacht Apostrophe, just in time before her participation in the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show. The vessel was re-launched on September 21.
The working season 2012-13 has been a very busy period for Amico & Co from Italy, having performed about 100 refit & repair yacht projects. 17% of these were yachts over 60 meters in length.
Chairman and CEO of CRN, Lamberto Tacoli, received the “Yacht Capital Award”, organised by the specialized magazine, Yacht Capital. The award was handed over at the Genoa’s Italian Yacht Club during the 2013 Genoa Boat Show.
This year’s Genoa Boat Show featured six luxury yachts by Sunseeker, including the all-new 115 Sport Yacht, as well as the 30 Metre Yacht.
