The 2014 Palma Superyacht Show, to be held from 30th April to 4th May 2014 in the fantastic Balearics yacht charter destination, Palma de Majorca, is set to become a great success, presenting an excellent selection of luxury sailing and motor yachts on display.
The exceptional Alloy superyacht Mondango will be exhibited at the next Monaco Yacht Show by the prominent UK design studio, Dubois Naval Architects. There will also be other Dubois vessels on display, comprising Alcanara superyacht, charter yacht Ganesha as well as luxury yacht Salperton.
The overall winner of the Superyacht Cup Palma 2012 has become the 40m Royal Huisman charter yacht Maria Cattiva, followed by charter yachts Atalante and Highland Breeze, respectively.
Competing through a confused wind pattern, Day 2 of this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma brought the victory of the superyacht Firefly in Class 1, followed by charter yachts Atalante and Maria Cattiva, respectively, both belonging to Class 2.
This year’s Superyacht Cup Palma started with perfect weather conditions. Class 1 is currently led by the 34m charter yacht Highland Breeze, built by Nautor Swan and designed by Frers, while the current winner of Class 2 is the 30m luxury yacht Reesle, designed by Hoek.
Delivered by Fitzroy Yachts in 2006 and designed by renowned Dubois Naval Architects, the 39m luxury charter yacht Ganesha (ex Zulu II) has received the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta’s Silver Jubilee Cup, along with prizes as Top Scored Boat over 31m in the Cruising Division, Top Scored Boat Owned by a YCCS Member, and Fitzroy’s trophy for Best Classified Fitzroy Yacht.
The overall winners of the 2012 Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta have become the 39m luxury charter yacht Ganesha in the Cruising Division and the 25.3m sailing yacht Highland Fling in the Performance Division.
The leaderboard after Day 4 of this year’s Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta remains untouched, with superyacht Scorpione dei Mari leading in the Cruising Class and superyacht Highland Fling taking the top position in the Performance Division.
The 25m luxury yacht Highland Fling continues to dominate in the Performance division of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2012 after day 2, followed by Aegir and My Song respectively. In the Cruising division, the 29m superyacht Scorpione dei Mari built by Jongert takes the first place, with charter yacht Ganesha in the second place and KibokoDos in the third place.
Day 1 of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta 2012 saw the 25m superyacht Highland Fling take the top spot in the Performance class, followed by My Song and Aegir respectively, while the Cruising division was won by the 38.8m charter yacht Ganesha, with the 37m luxury charter yacht Moonbird taking the second place and the 29m Scorpione dei Mari placing third.
YCCS Virgin Gorda hosts the Superyacht fleet, including such spectacular vessels as the 138´ Royal Huisman´s J-Class sailing yacht Hanuman or the 128´ charter yacht Ganesha by Fitzroy Yachts and many others.
