The International Superyacht Society (ISS) has announced the winners of its 2014 Design and Leadership Awards. They were presented at the 24th Anniversary of ISS’s Awards Gala, which was hosted by the lovely Florida yacht holiday location – Fort Lauderdale.
Finalists for this year’s ISS Design Awards have been announced. For the first time, the winners will be unveiled at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Florida’s Fort Lauderdale, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.

The sale of the 47m super yacht Project Hé (YN 16947) has been proudly announced by Heesen Yachts from the Netherlands. The vessel has been superbly penned by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects, with interior design by Bannenberg & Rowell.

The ground-breaking 65-metre Heesen Fast Displacement Hull Form motor yacht Galactica Star has won the Asia Boating Award 2014 in the ‘Best Yacht Design of the Year’ category.
The winners of this year’s Asia Boating Awards were announced during a black-tie gala at Hotel ICON in Kowloon East on the first night of the annual Hong Kong Gold Coast Boat Show. They include such jewels as the Benetti superyacht Lady Candy, as well as the 70 Sunreef Power charter yacht Damrak II.
The recent World Superyacht Awards 2014 was a huge success for the leading Dutch yards. Such outstanding vessels as Feadship mega yacht Madame Gu and Amels charter yacht Event have received the coveted Neptune trophy.
The coveted Neptune Trophy in the category ‘Semi-displacement or Planing Three-deck motor yacht of 45-metre and above’ went to the 65m Heesen Fast Displacement superyacht GALACTICA STAR at the recent World Superyacht Awards 2014 in Amsterdam.
Winners of the eagerly awaited World Superyacht Awards 2014 were announced at the Het Scheepvaartmuseum, Amsterdam’s National Maritime Museum, on Saturday, May 3.
Both featuring naval architecture by Van Oossanen, the 65-metre mega yacht GALACTICA STAR, as well as the 50-metre superyacht CRAZY ME has been both shortlisted for the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2014. The winners will be announced this weekend.
