A total number of 8 luxury superyachts will be participating in the upcoming Superyacht Challenge Antigua, running from January 30 to February 2. These include such outstanding vessels as the last year’s winner and the largest yacht to compete – the 182ft mega yacht Adela.
Set to take place on Saturday, April 26, 2014, the Yachting World Round Antigua Race is a one-day race, providing an excellent day of practice for boats preparing to compete in the Antigua Sailing Week.
Two important superyachts, including a 43,5m Frers-designed performance sloop, as well as a 46m Tripp-designed world cruising sloop, will boast the rig package, designed and produced by Rondal.
Royal Huisman, German Frers and Rhoades Young are excited to announce a new order for a 43m sailing yacht SEA EAGLE destined for a Taiwanese owner. Sea Eagle yacht represents the first order for Royal Huisman from South East Asia.
Designed by world renowned German Frers, the all-new 74-foot luxury sailing yacht is currently in build at Brooklin Boat Yard in the USA. This lovely daysailer is due to be launched in 2015.
Royal Huisman has reported an order for the new sailing superyacht Hull 395, measuring just under 40 meters in LOA. The yard is currently working on the 46m superyacht Hull 392, as well as the 48m superyacht Hull 393, both scheduled for delivery in 2014.
The respected Finnish shipyard, Nautor’s Swan, is currently working on the flagship of its 2013 Cruising range – the striking 35-metre superyacht Swan 115RS. She is due to be launched in 2015.
Lyman-Morse is currently working on a refit of the lovely 29-metre charter yacht Bristolian (ex Mari Cha II). Built by CNB to a design by German Frers, this shiny jet black sloop is expected to be ready for a warm winter down south.
Originally launched by Nautor Swan in 2003, the beautiful 100-foot superyacht Red Sky came to Lyman-Morse to get prepared for winter in the Caribbean. She is currently heading south to the lovely Caribbean yacht charter location – Virgin Gorda.
The recently concluded Voiles de Saint-Tropez 2013 was a great success. The event hosted 4,000 sailors and 300 Classic as well as Modern yachts, providing them with ideal sailing conditions.
This year’s 35th edition of the Régates Royales de Cannes came to its close on Saturday, September 28. The overall winners of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge 2013 Mediterranean Circuit have become sailing yacht Cambria in the Bog Boat class, Leonore yacht in the Vintage class and Il Moro di Venezia yacht in the Classic class.
The last day of this year’s 35th Régates Royales de Cannes – Trophée Panerai was full of action. Luxury yacht Moonbeam of Fife III was victorious in the Big Boats class.
