At the 51st Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show®, there will be approximately $3 billion worth of sailing boats, motor yachts, super yachts, megayachts, electronics, engines and thousands of boating accessories from every major marine manufacturer and boat builder from around the world. Reservations have already been confirmed for a few very special superyachts including Megayacht Cakewalk by Derecktor Shipyards, motor yacht Northern Star, by Lürssen, Sailing Yacht Felicita West, by Perini Navi and Superyacht Bacarella, by Trinity Yachts.
Show Management, the company that produces and manages the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show®, the Yacht & Brokerage Show in Miami Beach, the Palm Beach International Boat Show and the St. Petersburg Power & Sailboat Show®, will offset 100 percent of the greenhouse gas emissions from its electricity and fuel usage at the 51st 2010 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show®, the largest in-water boat show in the world.
IAG Yachts, a shipyard located in Zhuibai, China, has launched their first yacht the super yacht Primadonna. The 38.7 metre (IAG 127) yacht is the first of their Primadonna series and will be exhibited at the 2010 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in October this year.

The categories included in the awards are: national magazine ads, national magazine ads/series, Web advertising (banners), product literature, press kits, newsletters, e-mail promotions/blasts and marketing innovation. One new category was added this year – regional/local marketing, recognizing the best marketing program by a marine establishment in a local market.
