The Superyacht Intelligence Agency has demonstrated in its report, carried out earlier this year, that superyachts have a positive and important economic impact on the countries they visit. An example of this statement are luxury sailing yachts that will compete in the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup. They will bring significant economic benefits to New Zealand.
October 28 saw the official launch of the beautiful 50-metre Fitzroy superyacht Ohana (Project G50). Designed by renowned Dubois Naval Architects, she provides up to 12 guests with 6 comfortable cabins.
Luxury superyacht OHANA was launched on 28th October in New Plymouth, New Zealand at the well known Fitzroy Yachts shipyard. Ohana yacht was designed by Dubois Naval Architects with interior by Fitzroy Yachts and her proud Owner.

Dubois Naval Architects is one of the sponsors of the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup, as proudly announced by this respected design firm. Three of its designs will be competing in this popular race, including this year’s winner, the 34m superyacht Silvertip, the 40m luxury yacht Janice of Wyoming, as well as the 50m sailing yacht Ohana (G50).
Scheduled for launch later this year, the splendid superyacht Hana (G50) will participate in the 2013 NZ Millennium Cup in Auckland, where she will make her debut. Constructed by Fitzroy and designed by Dubois, this beautiful 50-metre flybridge sloop will be the largest vessel to enter the regatta so far this year.
Silvertip superyacht, along with luxury yacht Janice of Wyoming and sailing yacht G50 are three splendid vessels, all designed by Dubois Naval Architects. They have already confirmed their participation at the next year’s NZ Millennium Cup, held in February.
The exceptional Alloy superyacht Mondango will be exhibited at the next Monaco Yacht Show by the prominent UK design studio, Dubois Naval Architects. There will also be other Dubois vessels on display, comprising Alcanara superyacht, charter yacht Ganesha as well as luxury yacht Salperton.
The well known NZ builder Fitzroy Yachts will be present at the next Monaco Yacht Show, running from September 19 to 22. The company is currently building the 2014 FY17 superyacht as well as the 2012 sailing yacht G50.
