Day 4 of the currently running RORC Transatlantic Race saw the Finot-Conq 100 super yacht Nomad IV arrive in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The vessel has officially retired due to broken boom.
Day 3 of the currently running RORC Transatlantic Race 2014 saw the Finot-Conq 100 superyacht Nomad IV lead the race until gear failure, which forced the French Maxi to head back to the Canary Islands for repairs. This means that at dawn on day three, the battle for the overall lead is between charter yacht Lupa of London and Southern Wind 94 luxury yacht Windfall.

Sunday, November 30, 2014, was marked by the start of the RORC Transatlantic Race, after two delays due to adverse weather conditions. Five hours into the race, superyacht Nomad IV had rounded the southern tip of Lanzarote just ahead of luxury yacht Windfall and charter yacht Lupa of London.
A trail blazing start is expected for the inaugural RORC Transatlantic Race, set to kick off from Lanzarote in Canary Islands tomorrow, on Saturday, November 29, 1200 CET. The race will host such outstanding vessels as RP78 charter yacht Lupa of London.
The highly anticipated RORC Transatlantic Race from Lanzarote to Grenada is set to start in just 11 days. The race will be attended by such outstanding vessels as the 28m Southern Wind sailing yacht Windfall, as well as the 30m Finot Conq superyacht Nomad IV.
Set to kick off from Lanzarote on November 29, the inaugural RORC Transatlantic Race will be attended by an international fleet of yachts. The largest vessel to compete will be the 100ft sailing yacht Nomad IV.
Friday, May 9, at the Hurlingham Club in London, was marked by the announcement of the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2014 Winners. These include such jewels as luxury motor yacht Ocean Paradise.
Luxury sailing yacht NOMAD IV has been selected to participate in the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2014, competing for the ‘Sailing Yacht over 30 metres’ Award. She features naval architecture by finot-conq ARCHITECTES.
