This year’s Monaco Yacht Show has reported a huge success. Attended by 33,000 participants, there was a total number of 103 luxury superyachts on display, such as the 67m Alloy sailing yacht Vertigo – winner of the 2012 MYS design award.
Rediscovery of the wooden yacht building will be the main focus of this year’s HISWA Symposium on Yacht Design and Yacht Construction, taking as example the impressive 141m sailing yacht Dream Symphony, currently in build.
Scheduled for delivery in 2015, the Dubois designed 46-metre motor yacht 379 is about to begin build at Feadship De Vries Scheepsbouw. Six beautiful cabins accommodate guests aboard this spectacular vessel.

This year’s Monaco Yacht Show will boast a spectacular array of 103 luxury vessels, 73 of which measure over 40 meters in length. The largest vessel on display will be the Royal Huisman 90m megayacht Athena.
The prominent Dutch builder, Feadship, will be present at both premier boat shows in Cannes as well as in Monaco with its 39-metre luxury charter yacht Go on display. This splendid vessel now features a new interior by Sinot Yacht Design and is available for sale.
A new trend among Owners of luxury vessels is to have the interiors of their yachts restyled, redressed, refurbished as well as improved. Among such vessels ‘dressed up’ by well known Dutch studio Vripack belong superyacht Ilona for Amels, luxury yacht Blade (ex-H2ome) for Nakhimov or the classic Feadship yacht Julia for Balk Shipyard.
