A unique and highly attractive long-term plan for the development of its cadets has been introduced by UKSA Superyacht. This mixes up phases of training at UKSA with paid work placements in the superyacht industry.
After her extensive refit at Pendennis in the UK, the impressive 78-metre mega yacht M5 (ex Mirabella V) is now afloat and re-rigged. Originally penned by Ron Holland, she is expected to cruise the azure waters of the popular yacht charter destination – the South Pacific in 2014.
With her launch scheduled for 2015, the breath-taking 101m mega yacht Design 380 represents the largest Dubois project so far. Her beautiful interiors by Josep Juanpere Miret of GCA Arquitectes Associats will offer deluxe accommodation in 5 cabins.
Trimline Superyacht Interiors from England have been chosen as one of the local companies to carry out work on the historic 65-metre superyacht Shemara. Scheduled for delivery in 2014, the company will refit the owner and crew areas to the highest standards.
Britain’s largest independent ship repairer, Burgess Marine, will work on an extensive refit of a 57m 1992 Swiftship yacht. This will include structural, mechanical and electrical works and is expected to last 8 – 9 months.
Originally launched by Moonen shipyard in 2007, the Moonen 94 superyacht Infinity has been beautifully reffited by Endeavour Quay. The well known UK refit facility did an interview with the Captain of Inifnity, expressing his satisfaction with the works performed on the vessel.
Ocean Yacht Systems (OYS) has signed a contract with Green Marine, which will see the OYS deliver a custom lightweight vertical retracting bow thruster, model H-250-V to the new 78-foot sailing yacht APC 78, scheduled for launch in 2014.
The well known British manufacturer, Hunton, will present its range of luxury powerboats and tenders to US audiences. Hunton XRS37 yacht tender will be the first boat to find its home in the United States.

The all-new Targa 75 GRAN TURISMO yacht has been introduced by the leading British maker, Fairline Boats. Due to be completed in late 2014, she will be available with a three or four cabin arrangement, all with en suite.
This year’s PSP Southampton Boat Show was a very successful edition. The event was attended by more than 600 exhibitors, with over 120 new boats making their premiere.
