This year’s superyacht racing season will kick off with the Antigua Superyacht Challenge, that will start at the end of this month. There will once again be a highly anticipated Superyacht Cup Palma that will host such spectacular vessels as Perini Navi charter yacht P2.

Luxury sailing yacht project SOLAR is a spectacular 106-metre vessel currently under build at the prestigious OCEANCO shipyard with delivery due in 2015. She was designed inside-out by Nuvolari Lenard and features naval architecture by Dykstra.

The total number of 4 stunning Dyna Rig yacht concepts varying in size from 65 to 105 meters have been developed by Ken Freivokh in collaboration with Dykstra & Partners. All of these are based on the 88m luxury charter yacht Maltese Falcon by Perini Navi.

Saturday 21 July saw the 2012 J Class Solent Regatta – Hundered Guinea Cup, attended by the spectacular J Class yachts. The overall winner has become sailing yacht Lionheart, followed by superyacht Velsheda, charter yacht Ranger and Rainbow superyacht, respectively.
Measuring 76 meters in length, the exceptional classic charter yacht Stad Amsterdam will be berthed at this year’s HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show, open to public on Friday afternoon and over the weekend. Built by Damen Oranjewerf and designed by Gerard Dijkstra & Partners, this spectacular tall ship provides an impressive number of 14 lovely and elegant cabins to her guests.
Lewmar will be present at this year’s superyacht regattas, including the J Class Regatta as well as the Pendennis Cup. Four spectacular vessels competing in the J Class Regatta, such as luxury charter yacht Ranger and others will be fitted with Lewmar equipment, while the company will act as one of the sponsors in the Pendennis Cup.
