Holland Jachtbouw’s J Class superyacht Rainbow was honoured with the World Superyacht Award 2013 in the ‘Sailing Yachts 39M+’ category, handed over during the Awards ceremony on May 4.
It was a double victory for the prominent NZ manufacturer, Yachting Developments, at the 2013 World Superyacht Awards. The company has won in both the Refitted category for their refit of the J Class charter yacht Endeavour JK4, as well as Judges Special Award for Catamarans, for the 100-foot sailing catamaran yacht Quintessential (Q5).
The breath-taking 37-metre Royal Huisman superyacht Pumula (Project Bugamena) has been awarded ‘Best Sailing Yacht 30-39m’ as well as ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’ at the recent World Superyacht Awards.
The highly anticipated 8th edition of the World Superyacht Awards took place on May 4, 2013. The ‘Motor Yacht of the Year’ award went to the 47m Alloy superyacht Loretta Anne, while the ‘Sailing Yacht of the Year’ award received the 37m Royal Huisman yacht Pumula.

After Day 2 at the 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous, sailing yacht Cape Arrow took the victory in Division A, while the classic yacht Bolero took the Day Two win in Division B.
