Dykstra designed luxury yacht ADELA wins St Barths Bucket 2013

Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects, the majestic 55m superyacht Adela has become the overall winner of the 2013 St Barths Bucket Regatta in the Mademoiselles class. Sailing yacht Hanuman, also designed by Dykstra, has won in the J Class race.

St Barths Bucket Regatta 2013: A Day for Testing Teamwork

The second day of racing for 31 superyachts at the St Barths Bucket Regatta 2013 was marked by strong rain and wind. Today’s overall victory went once again to the 55m sailing yacht Adela, closely followed by the 62m mega yacht Athos.

This year’s HISWA Amsterdam in-water Boat Show will play host to the first Nautique Dutch Glory Awards. During the event, Gerard Dijkstra will receive the “Lifetime achievement Award”.

RORC Caribbean 600 Yacht Race 2013 to kick off on Monday 18 February

To be once again hosted by an enchanting Caribbean yacht charter destination – Antigua, the 2013 RORC Caribbean 600 race will start on Monday, February 18. There will be 50 luxury vessels competing in this year’s popular race, including nine yachts over 90 feet in LOA, such as the outstanding 203-foot mega yacht Athos.
