January 2, 2014, saw Derecktor Florida re-launch the iconic 150′ Feadship charter yacht Highlander (ex The Highlander), following her major refit. She is available for Mediterranean yacht charter the upcoming season, from April onwards.
The iconic Feadship superyacht HIGHLANDER has been recently re-launched, following her comprehensive refit at Derecktor Florida, fully respecting the groundbreaking exterior lines of the yacht’s designer, Jon Bannenberg.
This summer saw a number of re-power projects at Derecktor – Florida, including the 130′ Westship charter yacht Northern Lights, as well as the 122′ Delta superyacht SOC, and many others.
The model of the new 44m superyacht concept has been unveiled by Persak & Wurmfeld and Derecktor at the recently concluded Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, together with another 36-metre schooner concept.
Persal & Wurmfeld from New York will be attending the highly anticipated Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Their Performance Schooner Yacht Series will be showcased at the Derecktor Booth in Yachting Tent 719.
Currently under refit at Derecktor Florida, the classic 150-foot superyacht The Highlander by Feadship is scheduled for re-launch in late November. The refit includes re-furbishment of the engine room, new interior, as well as hull extension.
Following an extensive refit at Derecktor Florida, the 147-foot expedition yacht The Big Blue (ex Imbros) by Troy Marine left the yard to go through sea trials on September 12, performing just as she was expected to.
The advanced design and model of the 44m Persak & Wurmfeld sailing yacht concept, developed in collaboration with Derecktor Shipyards, will be exhibited at the upcoming Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).
Luxury yacht GLAZE, launched by Trinity Yachts in 2007 and completely refitted in 2010 by Derecktor Shipyard, enters the port of Venice in September, 2013.
Derecktor New York has been hard at work in Spring 2013. The yard is currently working on a Christensen 150 superyacht, which has arrived to undergo emergency repairs.
The Florida-based shipyard Derecktor has started working on an extensive refit of the iconic 150-foot Feadship superyacht The Highlander, built for the legendary Malcolm Forbes of Forbes Magazine.
The magnificent 1992 164-foot Feadship superyacht Aurora B has undergone a full five-year survey at the Derecktor Florida yard.
