Cummins and Mercury Marine have decided to move from their Cummins MerCruiser Diesel Marine (CMD) joint venture to a strategic supply arrangement between the two companies.
Volkswagen and Cummins MerCruiser Diesel (CMD) signed a strategic partnership agreement that will develop lower emissions marine engines. The Tier 3 emissions standards go into effect in the US in 2012 and 2014 in Europe.
