The outstanding 2014 fundraising campaign by cycling team Cogs4Cancer presented a cheque for €285,560.06 to Cancer Research UK aboard the Sunseeker 28 Metre Yacht at the 2015 London Boat Show. In the past 2 years, the Cogs4Cancer team has raised over €400,000 for Cancer Research UK and local French charities.
The Cogs4Cancer cycle ride concluded on Friday, October 10, 2014. It consisted of 6 stages and a total of 782 km. Over €250,000 has been raised for Cancer Research UK and local French charities.
Ancona-based superyacht builder, CRN Yachts, a brand of the Ferretti Group, hosted the first stage of Cogs4Cancer – an important charity cycle race, which started on October 5, 2014.
The Superyacht Shipyard Tour 2014, in aid of Cancer Research, will set off from CRN Shipyard in Italy’s Ancona on October 5. The event will be attended by the Cogs 4 Cancer team.
Following a very successful 2013 ‘Cogs for Cancer’ charity cycle ride for superyacht professionals, held last October, the 2014 edition of the event has been announced, set to run in early October 2014. Steve Crowe, managing director at Yachting Pages, will be once again participating in the event.
Steve Crowe, managing director of Yachting Pages, will join the superyacht sponsored charity cycle ride, organised by Adrian Long and Lee Mutch from Inter-Nett, a leading superyacht cleaning company, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
