Claasen Shipyards and Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology organised the opening of this year’s Yacht Valley Press Tour, an event bringing together journalists from all over the world.
It was a very successful edition of the Superyacht Cup Palma for four Claasen superyachts, including the majestic J Class yacht Lionheart, the Truly Classic 78 yacht Heartbeat, charter yacht Atalante, as well as superyacht Firefly.
The recently concluded Superyacht Cup Palma was another great success. The event was attended by the spectacular fleet of 20 superyachts.
The last day of the 2013 Superyacht Cup Palma saw the overall victory of the 23,8m Claasen superyacht Heartbeat.
Day 2 of the 2013 Superyacht Cup Palma saw the victory of sailing yacht Firefly in the Superyacht fleet, while the second race for the J Class yachts was won by superyacht Hanuman.
Claasen Shipyard, Marina Port Vell as well as Rondal will be once again sponsoring the Superyacht Cup Palma. So far, 19 luxury yachts have confirmed their presence in this popular Mediterranean race, hosted by the beautiful Spanish yacht charter location – Palma.
Claasen Shipyards is coming close to completing its all-new Bougainville yacht, a modern 72-foot racer/cruiser. She is designed by Berret Racoupeau, with interior design by Rhoades Young.

The splendid 72-foot racer/cruiser yacht Bougainville is currently in build at Claasen Shipyards in the Netherlands. Due to be launched this spring, she will comfortably accommodate her guests in the beautiful interiors, designed by bespoke Rhoades Young.
