Today, June 3, 2014, will be marked by the official start of the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, taking place in the fabulous Sardinia yacht holiday destination – Porto Cervo. The event will host such outstanding vessels as the 30m Southern Wind charter yacht Farewell.
Taken place from May 21 to 25, the inaugural Menorca Maxi Regatta 2014 was marked by an outstanding win of the J-Class superyacht Lionheart. This majestic vessel was built by Claasen Shipyards to a design by Andre Hoek in 2010.
Claasen Shipyards has become an official ‘industry partner’ of this year’s Superyacht Cup Palma, running in the lovely Spain yacht charter location – Palma de Mallorca from June 18 to 21.
The spectacular 2002 superyacht Borkumriff IV has confirmed her participation in this year’s Superyacht Cup in Palma. This beautiful 51-metre sloop was built by Royal Huisman and designed by Dykstra Naval Architects. She will be the largest yacht to compete this year.

Built by the prominent Dutch manufacturer Claasen Shipyards, the 72-foot luxury yacht Louise (ex Bougainville) has successfully completed her maiden voyage to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. The construction of the all-new Truly Classic superyacht TC126 is nearing completion at Claasen Shipyards in the Netherlands. Designed by Hoek Design, she is scheduled for delivery in 2015.
