Operation Cruise is a not-for-profit charitable programme, founded by the Owner of the 155′ Christensen charter yacht One More Toy in January 2011. This year’s Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show saw Christensen Shipyards sign a contract for the all-new Custom 164’ (50M) Series superyacht project. Delivery is scheduled for August 2016.
It was a busy year 2013 for Derecktor Florida, with a long line of re-power yacht projects and generator replacements, including such important vessels as the 130′ Westship charter yacht Northern Lights. The on-going projects include the 131′ Heesen charter yacht Mirage.
Alexander Marina, the manufacturer of Ocean Alexander yachts, has proudly announced the recent sale of superyacht Ocean Alexander 120, built by Christensen Yachts. In addition, the orders for two new yachts have been signed.
Derecktor New York has been hard at work in Spring 2013. The yard is currently working on a Christensen 150 superyacht, which has arrived to undergo emergency repairs.
The first half of 2013 was very busy for the Derector Florida, having completed such significant projects as the 170′ Feadship yacht Battered Bull or the 178′ Benetti charter yacht Starfire.
