New Zealand-based refit shipyard, Oceania Marine, is currently working on the refit of the 2011 super yacht Black Pearl. She will receive a hull repaint in her beautiful metallic grey and minor coating repairs on the superstructure, as well as general maintenance works.
Boasting beautiful interior design by Chris Connell, the superb 31,5-metre luxury expedition yacht Black Pearl has been announced as one of the finalists for the International Yacht & Aviation Award 2014 in the ‘Yacht Interior Design’ category.
The well attended motor yacht Black Pearl christening and official handover took place on January 22 in Auckland New Zealand. The relaxed gathering was held at Auckland’s viaduct, overlooking the vessel and alongside her on the pier. A very common theme in speeches and discussions was the very high standard of finish and quality throughout this stunning vessel.
The 31.5m luxury motor yacht BLACK PEARL (Build Project 08) by Diverse Projects and LOMOcean Design with an interior designed by Chris Connell was launched in Whangarei, New Zealand on the 29th of December 2010. M/Y Black Pearl is the largest yacht ever built by the New Zealand yard Diverse Projects.
