The ClubSwan Rendezvous programme is designed to offer structured cruising and social occasions organised by Nautor’s Swan with the option of low key racing in some of the World’s most sought after sailing locations. The Caribbean element to the Rendezvous suits those intent on enjoying local island hospitality mixed with Swan cruising organisation taking the fleet to a range of island stopovers.
Motor Yacht BaiaMare is currently under construction in Turkey at the Ned Ship Group shipyard, with a launch date in 2011. This stunning superyacht will accommodate 12 guests in six luxurious cabins.
Yacht KATARA is a Lurssen built 124.4 metre (408’14”) superyacht with naval architecture designed by the Lurssen in-house naval architects, and exterior design by the celebrated design team Espen Oeino International based in Monaco. The final day of the 31st St. Maarten Heineken Regatta was one to remember, starting early on Sunday morning with a full slate of racing and ending very early Monday morning after a Prize-Giving ceremony on Kim Sha Beach and an epic line-up of musical entertainment headlined by Wyclef Jean, the ex-Fugees front man whose 4-hour performance was simply one for the ages.
Nautor’s Swan is heralding the coming of Spring this year with the 8th annual edition of the highly popular cruising calendar event, ‘the ClubSwan Caribbean Rendezvous’. With nearly 100 participations for 2011 there will be a strong cruising contingent from the Swan fraternity congregating in the British Virgin Islands from March 14 – 19.

On a strange, squally day where it rained early and often—and in many divisions, both skill and luck, sometimes in heavy doses, played a major role in the final results—the 31st running of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta came to a close this afternoon following a single, extremely taxing point-to-point race from Marigot to Simpson Bay.
Racing sailors know it as Moving Day, the midpoint in a regatta when the time has come to make a move, either to solidify your place in the standings or, for boats that have not yet sailed to their potential, to elevate your position in the fleet. And on Day 2 in the 31st running of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta, with a pair of contests conducted for the CSA racing classes 1-6, the opportunity to move up—or down—was at hand.
The 31st edition of the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta kicked off in surprising style today as nearly 200 boats in 18 classes set sail anticipating both serious fun and, of course, serious competition. While most everyone enjoyed a good time and tight racing, they also encountered seriously challenging conditions thanks to squally skies, fluky breeze, and more than one or two windless holes on the racecourse.
