The recently concluded inaugural Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean was a great success. The Class A winner has become the Swan 601 luxury yacht Stark Raving Mad, while the Class B winner was the Swan 42 yacht Arethusa.
Day 3 of the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean saw the start line antics dictate race leaders. This inaugural Caribbean race, being hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, will be concluded tomorrow, with the final prizegiving scheduled for 1700 local time.
Being hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the first day of the inaugural Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean in Virgin Gorda was marked by the victory of the Swan 80 superyacht Selene in Class A, while in Class B dominated the Swan 53 yacht Music.
The Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean will commence today, on March 11, hosting an impressive fleet of Swan yachts. The largest luxury vessel to compete will be the 100-foot superyacht Varsovie.
This year’s 42nd edition of the BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival at Nanny Cay will kick off in less than three weeks. The Alia 82 charter yacht Aiyana will represent the largest vessel, participating in this popular Caribbean race.
To be hosted by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in a fabulous BVI yacht charter destination – Virgin Gorda, the inaugural Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean will be held from March 11 to 15. The event will be attended by such beautiful Swan vessels as the Swan 90 superyacht Freya.
Walcon Marine has recently completed the installation of five superyacht berths at Nanny Cay in the British Virgin Islands. These can take yachts of up to 40 meters in LOA.
This year’s Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous will host an impressive number of luxury vessels. So far, 21 sailing yachts and 6 motor yachts have registered, including such spectacular vessels as the 56 m Perini Navi charter yacht Phantalassa.
The outstanding sailing charter yacht Lupa of London (ex Rusalka) is once again available for Christmas and New Year’s rent in the beautiful and popular charter destination – the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean.
Last week saw the 31th edition of Annual BVI Charter Yacht Show, hosted by the breathtaking Nanny Cay Marina, positioned on a stunning Caribbean island of Tortola. A part of the event was the annual Culinary Contest.
