The recently concluded BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival 2013 was another great success. The next year’s edition of this popular Caribbean event will run from March 31 to April 6, 2014.
The organiser of the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival, the Caribbean Sailing Association, have decided on the yacht regatta’s 2013 dates, set for March 25-31.
41st BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival closed with the Prizegiving on Sunday´s evening, hosting 100 yachts competing in this popular race, including larger yachts such as seven Swans and the STP 65 sailing yacht Equation.
The winner of the 2012 Nanny Cay Cup at this year´s BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival has become Michael Shlens Farr 400 sailing yacht Blade.
Racing finally started yesterday for the BVI Sailing Festival with a 30 mile race around the beautiful Caribbean island of Virgin Gorda and the overall winner of The Bitter End Cup was awarded to the Team Trolly Car yacht.
