The highly anticipated 46th edition of Antigua Sailing Week will once again host the big yachts of the Caribbean, including the beautiful Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana. So far, more than 70 yachts have signed up for this popular race.

Set to kick off in Antigua on February 18, the 2013 RORC Caribbean 600 yacht race will host a record fleet of luxury yachts, including such spectacular vessels as the 216-foot Hetairos megayacht that won the race in 2012.
Zennström’s crew aboard the Farr 100 charter yacht Ran Leopard crossed the finish line in the 2012 Transatlantic Superyacht & Maxi Regatta in 7 days, 8 hours, 59 minutes and 12 seconds, smashing the course record that was set by Hetairos yacht in 2011.
Organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and the International Maxi Association (IMA), this year’s Transatlantic Superyacht & Maxi Regatta kicked off yesterday, with participation of such spectacular vessels as the 35m Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana.
The splendid 2011 superyacht Cape Arrow is constructed by Southern Wind Shipyard as its third SW 100 RS cruiser. She boasts naval architecture by renowned Farr Yacht Design.
The respected South African company, Southern Wind Shipyard, is presently working on the SW 82 RS superyacht. This beautiful fast cruiser is designed by Nauta Design, with naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design.
Hall Spars fitted yachts have reported a great success on the race course this season. Two magnificent vessels boasting Hall Spars mast will be showcased at the next Monaco Yacht Show, comprising Wally 164 luxury yacht Better Place and Baltic 72 yacht Stig.
This year’s 23rd edition of the popular Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup was attended by several Hall Spars equipped vessels, taking victory in three of the five Divisions. These include Bella Mente yacht, superyacht Nilaya or luxury yacht Aegir.
The first hull of the SW 102 series, the sailing yacht Almagores II was launched with a great success by the well known South African shipyard Southern Wind on Sunday May 6 in Cape Town. The yard is also currently working on the hull 2, the superyacht Atalante, due for launch in December 2012.
The final day 5 of the Antigua Sailing Week 2012 revealed its winners, with Geoff Hill’s Santa Cruz 72 sailing yacht Antipodes winning in CSA 1A. Peter Harrison’s Farr 115 charter yacht Sojana took the third place.
Day 4 of Antigua Sailing Week was another difficult day for competitors, resulting in a large number of incidents as well as a major collision between Oyster 82 superyacht Starry Night of the Caribbean and On Deck’s Farr 65 sailing yacht Spirit of Isis. Tomorrow´s last day of racing will be crucial.
