The 2013 BVI Spring Regatta will start tomorrow, on March 29, after two days of spectacular racing in the BVI Sailing Festival in the popular Caribbean yacht charter destination – Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
Day Two of the currently running BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival saw the Caribbean Insurers Island Invitational Race to Norman Island, while tomorrow will bring the Tortola Island Day – ‘Wind, Water & Wander’ in order to see what the beautiful Caribbean yacht charter destination – Tortola has to offer when not sailing.
This year’s 42nd edition of BVI Spring Regatta & Sailing Festival will start today, on March 25. It will be hosted by the fabulous Nanny Cay Marina, situated in the popular Caribbean yacht charter location – Tortola.
The final day of the 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous saw the overall victory of the 45-metre luxury charter yacht Salperton as well as the 22-metre sailing yacht Bolero.
After Day 2 at the 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous, sailing yacht Cape Arrow took the victory in Division A, while the classic yacht Bolero took the Day Two win in Division B.
The first day of the 2013 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous saw the victory of luxury charter yachts Salperton and Parsifal III.
Loro Piana is the title sponsor of the “Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous” for the second consecutive year. The 2013 edition will also see the all-new Loro Piana Superyacht Trophy, starting on March 25.
The eagerly awaited Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous 2013 will kick off tomorrow, to be attended by 20 sailing yachts and 7 motor yachts, hosted by the prominent Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in the popular Caribbean yacht charter destination – Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands.
The recently concluded inaugural Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean was a great success. The Class A winner has become the Swan 601 luxury yacht Stark Raving Mad, while the Class B winner was the Swan 42 yacht Arethusa.
Day 3 of the Rolex Swan Cup Caribbean saw the start line antics dictate race leaders. This inaugural Caribbean race, being hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, will be concluded tomorrow, with the final prizegiving scheduled for 1700 local time.
