The Kestrel 106 sailing yacht is a new breed of superyacht designed for an exceptional onboard lifestyle. The world class semi-custom sailing superyacht Kestrel 106 has naval architecture and external styling by Ron Holland Design and is currently under construction at the Aganlar Boatyard in Bodrum Turkey. The first Kestrel 106 sailing yacht measuring 32.4m will be launched in the summer of 2011.
Archipelago Yachts in Bodrum, Turkey, has announced that it has a 40‐metre, modern classic schooner called sailing yacht ZanZiba in build, with the launch scheduled for the autumn of this year. S/Y ZanZiba features naval architecture by Alparslan Tekogul, supported by Paul Spooner of Fairlie Restorations. Exterior and interior styling is by David Wright Design.
Bodrum Cup International Wooden Yacht Regatta, one of the biggest naval organizations of Turkey, sponsored by Ant Yapi and MM Proje had 51 yachts, including 10 bearing foreign flags attending the regatta.
Aganlar Boatyard is close to completing a major extension of their well-established boat building and re-fit yard in Bodrum, Turkey. They are working with Marine Trade Centre to implement an integrated PR and marketing campaign highlighting the unique new facilities and skills which Aganlar is bringing to the superyacht refit market in the Eastern Mediterranean.
