Expansion activity has been announced by BMT Nigel Gee, driven in particular by the new design orders for some of the world’s largest and finest superyachts.
Oceanco and Tim Heywood have teamed up to develop the breath-taking 105m superyacht Project DP017. This majestic vessel offers luxurious accommodation to 16 guests in total.
The last month’s Monaco Yacht Show saw the presentation of the breath-taking 110-metre mega yacht RIALTO (DP002) design by the leading Dutch maker, Oceanco. The vessel has been designed by Nuvolari & Lenard.
This year, several Superyacht UK members have received the prestigious ISS Design & Leadership Award 2013. These include Pendennis, which has scooped the ISS prize in the ‘Best Refit’ category for the refit of luxury motor yacht A2.
Beautifully refitted by Pendennis in 2012, the 1983 Feadship superyacht A2 (ex Masquerade of Sole) has been honoured with the 2013 ISS Award in the ‘Best Refit Yacht’ category.
Taken place from June 7 to 9, the 2013 ISS UK Regatta was a resounding success. The event has raised a total of £5550 for Sail 4 Cancer.
BMT presented its superyacht expertise at the recent Asia Pacific Superyacht Conference in Singapore. The company is strenghtening its presence in the region, in order to expand into its yacht market.
Three British Marine Federation (BMF) and Superyacht UK (SYUK) members, including Pendennis, Green Marine, as well as Princess Yachts, have been recognized at this year’s World Superyacht Awards, held in Istanbul on May 4.
At the moment on her way to the breath-taking yacht charter destination – Alaska, the 47m superyacht A2 (ex Masquerade of Sole) has been announced as the Winner of the ‘Rebuilt Motor Yacht’ category at the prestigious World Superyacht Awards 2013.
Pendennis refitted superyacht A2 (ex Masquerade of Sole) was awarded ‘Best Rebuilt Yacht’ at this year’s World Superyacht Awards.
Set to be held in the lovely UK yacht charter location – Solent from June 7 to 9, the 2013 annual ISS Regatta is expected to host 12 to 15 teams, including the last year’s winner, BMT Nigel Gee.
In addition to the currently running Singapore Yacht Show, the prestigious ONE15°Marina Club at Sentosa Cove has also played a host to the recently concluded Asia Pacific Superyacht Conference, that was marked by a great success.
