The upcoming ICOMIA World Marinas Conference will be attended by the Global Marina Institute (GMI). The event will be held in Istanbul from June June 2 to 4, 2014.

The next year’s Superyacht Technical Seminar will take place at the 2014 London Boat Show, running on Thursday, January 9. The 2013 edition of the event hosted more than 125 attendees.

The Green Blue (TGB), the environmental initiative of the Royal Yachting Association and the British Marine Federation congratulated the MDL’s Port Hamble Marina for completing the TGB Marine Toolkit. The luxury yacht marina was recognised for the positive steps it has taken to make the marina more sustainable.
The former Technical Manager at ICOMIA, Udo Kleinitz, is joining the British Marine Federation (BMF) to head up the Federation’s Technical team and his work history.
The recently concluded ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress was hosted and organised by the British Marine Federation (BMF) at Devonport House, London, UK. The next year’s event will be hosted by the Turkish Marine Industry Association, DENTUR, in Istanbul, Turkey.
