Trinity Yachts have announced the recommencement of construction for superyacht hull T059, a 164’ (50m) Aluminum trideck motor yacht. The construction contract for the 50m superyacht T059 was signed in December 2007 but the build was postponed by mutual agreement between Trinity Yachts and the Owner in August 2009. Delivery of the megayacht is now scheduled for 2012.
Palladium Technologies new Apple iPad-based SiMON² ship alarm monitoring application has been nominated by the judges for the prestigious DAME Award which will be presented at the 2010 Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS), held Nov. 16-18 in the Amsterdam RAI convention center.
