35th America’s Cup: Training of Ben Ainslie team in Bermuda

Last week saw Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) test the waters of the America’s Cup’s recently announced location of Bermuda. The team’s objective for the training camp was to get acclimated with the conditions on the race course area and to work on improving its foiling skills.

Saturday 30th June 2011 saw a new entry to the J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race: the 49.5m charter yacht Eleonora, launched in March 2000 by the Dutch Van der Graaf shipyard. This amazing vessel will be sailed by famous Ben Ainslie, that will co-helm with the vessel´s owner, helped by the vessel´s captain Mike McMillan.
