Motor yacht MAGIC starts refit at Front Street Shipyard

This week, the Front Street Shipyard has started working on an extensive refit of the 130-foot charter yacht Magic, originally designed by Setzer Yacht Architects, commissioned by the vessel’s owners to complete the redesign.

Last week saw the magnificent 122′ classic motor yacht Atlantide leave the Front Street Shipyard, after an extensive winter refit.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to release $120,897 for Front Street Shipyard

The prominent yacht yard, Front Street Shipyard, will be awarded with a $120,897 grant, to be provided by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, in order to add 12 new slips with shorepower on the dock face, as well as five 40-foot harbor floats.

New 485-US-Ton Hoist for Front Street Shipyard

Front Street Shipyard will boast a new 485-US-ton hoist, ordered from the Italian company Cimolai, that is expected to be fully operational by August 1. The company has also begun the permitting process to expand their facilities.

Expansion of Front Street Shipyard

After having purchased Belfast Boat Yard, Front Street Shipyard has started the second phase of its expansion. The company is also considering buying a 300-metric-ton marine hoist that will haul superyachts.

Front Street Shipyard acquires Belfast Boatyard

As part of its expansion strategy, the Maine-based Front Street Shipyard has recently purchased Belfast Boatyard, gaining 500 feet of deep-water frontage, 22 slips, 20 moorings as well as harbor floats.
