The Port of Barcelona and the Barcelona City Council present their new initiative, the Barcelona Nautical Cluster, designed to promote the Catalan capital city as an important landmark in the nautical industry.
Marina Barcelona 92 and Austal have recently signed a strategic partnership statement. Austal will offer naval architecture, engineering, aluminium fabrication, welding, pipe work as well as consultancy at MB’92’s Barcelona facility.
Port Vell will host the 2012 Barcelona International Boat Show, running from September 26 to 30. With around 160 yachts on display, among the new initiatives of the 2012 edition belongs the Smart Port, a port management platform.
