The innovative 2013 Doyle Stratis ICE fibre for superyachts has proved increasingly popular. The company will soon start working on new membranes for the 52m Alloy charter yacht Red Dragon, which will be the biggest ICE sails made to date.
Currently undergoing refit work at Cooksons in New Zealand, the 30m IRC super maxi yacht Rio 100 (ex Zana, Konica Minolta, Lahana) will feature a full race inventory of carbon ICE sails, which will be supplied by Doyle Sails NZ.
One of the latest designs developed by the NZ design firm Bakewell-White Yacht Design Ltd. represents the splendid 335 Sportfish superyacht concept, featuring a hidden tender stowage in the foredeck.
