Featuring a 15-knot wind, it has been an ideal day of sailing for Bob Oatley’s 98ft superyacht Wild Oats XI, following yesterday’s unexpected day ashore for the IRC classes due to a lack of the wind.

At this year’s Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, the Australia-New Zealand rivalry will be marked not only by the Bledisloe Cup, but also by the new prize, the South Pacific Trophy. Moreover, there will be one other new trophy for the top performing maxi yacht.
Sailors coming to Hamilton Island to compete in this year’s Audi Hamilton Island Race Week had an amazing opportunity to enjoy the fabulous tropical weather as well as plenty of whales, providing an amazing spectacle. The race is scheduled to kick off tomorrow.
It was a huge success for Horizon Group at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show, with its tri-deck yacht Horizon P110, catamaran yacht CC80 as well as the E56 motor yacht Evolution on display. The largest motoryacht exhibited during the event, Horizon P110 is expected to be sold within the coming weeks.
This Saturday will see the official start of the 29th edition of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, with almost 2000 yachts present to enjoy this highly anticipated race. The largest luxury vessel to participate is the 98ft superycht Wild Oats XI.
The next year will be marked by the 25th anniversary of the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, running from May 23 to 26. The event now features a new executive general manager, Keith Allardice.
