America’s Cup competitors have amended the AC 72 class rule, the design rule that will govern the development of the Cup class wing-sailed catamarans for the 34th America’s Cup and the America’s Cup World Series events in 2012.
The dates for the 4th High Performance Yacht Design conference have been confirmed and will run from the 12-14 March 2012. This will take place in Auckland, New Zealand during the Volvo Ocean Race stopover. The boats arrive on 8 March and depart on 18 March. The conference venue will be in the heart of the Viaduct Basin in the purpose built Marine Events centre.
