Next year’s RORC CARIBBEAN 600 yacht race to start on 18 February

The next edition of the RORC Caribbean 600 starts on 18 February 2013. Along with this year’s winner, the 215-foot superyacht Hetairos, the 2013 race will be attended by such spectacular vessels as the 180ft megayacht Adela or the 203ft luxury yacht Athos and many others.

Ocean Village Marina plays host to J Class Yachts

MDL’s Ocean Village Marina was delighted to host three J Class yachts during the J Class Solent Regatta, including luxury yacht Velsheda, superyacht Lionheart as well as charter yacht Ranger. Newly refitted charter yacht ICAP Leopard back in action

Recently refitted charter yacht ICAP Leopard has just finished racing in the Superyacht Cup in Cowes and is already preparing to compete at Weymouth for the London 2012 Olympics. This splendid vessel will then return to the Solent to participate in this year’s Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week.

Racing Day 2 of the 3rd Pendennis Cup saw much lighter as well as changeable winds. At the moment, superyacht Unfurled leads in Class 2, while the overall winner in Class 3 is currently Firebrand yacht.

A closely fought battle was seen on the water during the first day of racing at the 2012 Pendennis Cup, with luxury yacht Mariette of 1915 taking the top position in Class 2, The Pendennis Cup Class, while Mikado yacht is currently leading in Class 3, The Little Dennis Classic Class.

Pendennis Cup Superyacht Regatta to be sponsored by Lewmar

Lewmar will be present at this year’s superyacht regattas, including the J Class Regatta as well as the Pendennis Cup. Four spectacular vessels competing in the J Class Regatta, such as luxury charter yacht Ranger and others will be fitted with Lewmar equipment, while the company will act as one of the sponsors in the Pendennis Cup.
